The menisci are two soft rubbery discs that cushion your knee joint. These discs can develop tears due to activity or age. Our doctors will examine your injury and design a meniscus repair treatment plan that works best for you.
We use anti-inflammatory medications and physical therapy to treat smaller meniscal tears. Steroid or platelet-rich plasma injections may also be recommended. But, if you need more advanced care, our orthopedic team specializes in minimally invasive surgical options to remove torn cartilage or repair tears with sutures.
