Yanling Ma, MD

Dr. Ma is currently a staff pathologist at both LAC+USC Medical Center and Women's Hospital and teaches courses in pathology to second year USC medical students. A native of China, Dr. Ma first came to USC in 1994 as a pathology intern at LAC+USC Medical Center. A residency and fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center followed and in 2000, Dr. Ma was appointed Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology. Dr. Ma has been a member of the College of American Pathologists since 1977 and is also currently a member of the Keck School of Medicine's Residency Recruitment Committee. A former Acting Chief of Surgical Pathology, Dr. Ma currently directs the Immunohistochemistry Laboratory.
