Grey Sanchez, LCSW is a clinical instructor of psychiatry and the behavioral sciences (practitioner) and a licensed clinical social worker at USC’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services Clinic at University Park Campus (PBHS@UPC). As a psychotherapist, he provides therapy services specializing in chronic and severe mental illness. Mr. Sanchez offers access to intermediate care, time limited, solution-focused, and evidence-based care to USC students.
His professional interests include mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, college mental health, and multicultural therapy. Grey is passionate about providing an affirming therapeutic space for individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC, first generation college students, and neurodiverse students.
He utilizes a strength based, trauma-informed approach in working with clients and practices cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical behavior therapy. He provides gender-affirming therapy services and supports students by writing letters to help advocate for gender affirming procedures and surgery.
