About Donald B. Longjohn, MD
Dr. Longjohn is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He specializes in hip and knee replacement and revision surgery. He is a member of the American Academy or Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Western Orthopaedic Association as well as a fellow in the American College of Surgeons.Dr. Longjohn has been honored with several teaching awards and has published numerous research articles and book chapters. His current research focus is on clinical and biomechanical studies relating to joint replacement and arthroplasty revision techniques and materials. Dr. Longjohn received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, and completed his fellowship in arthritis and joint implant surgery at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center/Keck Medical Center of USC.
