Dr. Michael Lin is a transplant hepatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases at Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. He specializes in the treatment and management of a variety of liver diseases including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma. Additionally, he cares for patients who need or have undergone liver transplantation. He is the Director of Outreach (Arcadia) for hepatology and working on extending the reach of the USC liver program. His goal is to ensure that all patients with chronic liver disease are able to receive the specialty care that they need.
Dr. Lin received his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and his transplant hepatology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Lin is board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology.
