Shannon Bradley serves as the inaugural chief health equity, inclusion and community officer with Keck Medicine of USC. She plays a pivotal role in strategic planning and leadership, promoting inclusion, health equity and workforce development across the health system while building community and external partnerships.
In her role, Bradley chairs the Health Equity, Inclusion, and Community Executive Steering Committee, which works across departments to drive positive organizational change. She is also a vocal advocate for the organization’s eight employee resource groups.
Bradley serves as the Board Chair for Mentorship and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion for the Women in Healthcare Greater Los Angeles Chapter. She is an advisory board member for the United Negro College Fund’s Los Angeles Chapter and has held leadership roles in organizations such as the Texas Diversity Council and the National Association of Health Services Executives Houston Chapter. She is also a member of the National Black MBA Association and the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Previously, Bradley served as the assistant vice president and division director of diversity, equity and inclusion for HCA Healthcare’s Gulf Coast Division, headquartered in Houston. There, she launched and fostered multiple employee networks focused on community engagement, recruitment, organizational culture and personal and professional development. In addition, she initiated a health equity collaboration that significantly improved maternal health outcomes among women of color, as well as patient access and outcomes, particularly among low-income and uninsured patient populations.
Bradley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Emporia State University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a health care administration specialization from Baylor University.
