About Melvin Weiwen Chiu, MD
Dr. Chiu comes to the Keck School of Medicine of USC’s Department of Dermatology after spending over 13 years as a faculty member in the Division of Dermatology at Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Chiu has been previously served as Associate Residency Program Director for the UCLA Dermatology Residency Program, Director of the Psoriasis and Phototherapy Center at UCLA, and President of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Dermatological Society.
Philosophy of Care: I take pride in providing thorough, personalized, and compassionate dermatologic care for my patients. I believe medical care is a team effort, and I value collaboration with patients, their families, and their other healthcare providers to provide the highest quality care. I am honored to be entrusted with my patients’ dermatologic needs.
