Jessica Slamon, MS, RD, is a registered dietitian with Keck Medicine of USC specialized in providing medical nutrition therapy and education for diverse patient populations. Her role involves assessing each patient’s nutrition needs based on their age and specific medical diagnosis. She crafts personalized and sustainable care plans and provides follow-up care to monitor the efficacy of medical nutrition intervention.
Slamon works with patients with a variety of conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular issues, gastrointestinal disorders, food allergies and kidney and liver disease. She also addresses disordered eating, supports surgery optimization through nutrition and provides weight-management care. She values honest communication with each patient and strives to build meaningful relationships based on mutual respect.
When she’s not working, Slamon enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, getting outside as much as possible, coloring and crocheting amigurumi.
